This live online training course is offered by a collaboration of Minnesota State colleges.
Happiness. It’s what we all want. But are we happy? In many ways going after all the things we think will make us happy actually are making us less happy and we are missing out on the true sources of happiness in life. Good jobs, awesome stuff, and a perfectly sculpted body may seem like the dream, but they just might be what is stopping us from actually living the good life.
In this 2 day (4 hour) workshop-style course, we will explore what we think makes us happy, what actually makes us happy, and how we can implement simple practices into our lives to improve on our happiness in a multitude of ways. Throughout the 2 days (4 hours), we will walk through how our brain tricks us into thinking we should be happy, how we can change our thoughts to change our emotions, and how we can take steps to take control of our happiness and live the good life, all through an active practice format.
