Emergency Medical Responders (formerly “First Responders”) manage patient care at the scene of trauma or medical emergencies until advanced medical personnel arrive. In this hybrid course, students will complete online content modules and attend classroom skill sessions with a certified instructor until knowledge and skill competencies are met.
This course is based on guidelines established by the U.S. DOT and meets requirements of the Minnesota EMS Regulatory Board (MN EMSRB). It is intended for law enforcement, firefighters, ambulance and rescue personnel, ski patrol, athletic coaches, school nurses, camp counselors, industrial emergency response team members, and other individuals charged with “first response” duties.

You are required to bring a cloth face covering (mask) and wear it the entire time on campus. Any mask is acceptable as long as your nose and mouth are fully covered. Practice social distancing while you are on campus by leaving at least 6 feet of space between you and others. Park at the side entrance of campus (no parking pass needed) just off Highway 10. Enter door S-3 and wash your hands with soap and water. Sign in at the desk and go down the hallway to the left, Room 169.
Cancelation / Reschedule Policy:
To cancel or reschedule, you must notify us 7 days before your scheduled class start date. No refund will be issued after that point for any reason.
No refund will be issued if you miss your scheduled class dates.
