Employers everywhere are struggling with hiring and retaining employees. The costly and ineffective approach taken by many is to simply pay more salary / wages. This leads to diminishing returns and ultimate failure to stabilize a  strong, cohesive workforce. However, the organization as a whole can be much smarter and efficient in their methods and take a more thoughtful look at the their hiring and initial phase of employment processes. Serious perspective questions need to be asked and addressed such as: what does a potential new hire think of your organization? Why did they apply? What are their initial impressions during a job interview? How are they treated and greeted on day one? How are they trained? What is their work ethic status? Why is it important for them to work every day? These questions and many more are important for attracting and maintaining a stable work force. This session presents answers, solutions and an opportunity for participants to take a hard look at their current methods and make immediate improvements. Many ideas will be presented along with time for individual process analysis and open class discussions.
