This course is designed to provide Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses a review of nursing theory and clinical skills to enhance their practice of nursing after a lapse in licensure or an extended period of time out of practice.

Upon meeting course training requirements, you are eligible to receive a certificate of completion, and after passing the Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide (NA/HHA) Competency Evaluation (State Test), you will be placed on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.

Become part of the surgical team as an operating room nurse! This comprehensive course has been designed to provide Registered Nurses a thorough introduction to perioperative nursing.
This course provides students with 40 hours of classroom instruction and 100 hours of clinical practice in phlebotomy techniques. Topics include equipment and procedures for blood collection by venipuncture and capillary punctures.
Acquire the skills to safely administer medications under the direction of a nurse. Discover how medications affect the physiology of the body systems. Participants will learn and demonstrate how to give medications through oral, rectal, and topical routes. The legal requirements concerning medication administration and documentation will be discussed.
