Boiler operators in Minnesota are required to be licensed through the Department of Labor, and our 8-hour prep class will ensure your success on the licensing exam.
Whether you are taking a Special Engineer or Grade C licensing exam, this training will cover everything you need to pass the test. We can also customize the class to include high pressure boiler licenses.
Training is held virtually on Zoom and led by an expert instructor with 30+ years of experience, so you can connect from the workplace or office with an internet-connected device, webcam, and mic – No travel necessary!

State Licensing and Exam Information:
This class is intended for exam prep only. In order to take the state exam, you must submit an application and schedule your exam through the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry.

About the Instructor:
John Glynn is currently employed as a boiler and pressure vessel inspector. He began operating high pressure boilers in 1975 and also holds a current Chief A Minnesota Boiler Operators license.
This live online training course is offered by a collaboration of Minnesota State colleges and universities.
This class will be held virtually through Zoom. Participants will connect to the live class using a computer, internet connection, webcam and microphone.
The Zoom link and downloadable class materials will be emailed to participants several days before the class.
