Central Service Technician | Sterile Processing

Prepare for a career in the fast-paced field of Healthcare Sterile Processing. Central Service Technicians work in hospitals and surgery centers to clean, decontaminate, disinfect, sterilize, and distribute medical and surgical instruments and equipment. With classroom lectures, lab instruction and a clinical experience, students will be prepared to take IAHCSMM’s (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management) certification exam.


  • College level reading comprehension ability
  • Vaccination records and background check are required prior to clinical
  • Physical demands include standing for up to 8 hours, repetitive lifting of up to 25 pounds, and pushing/pulling heavy carts
