Your healthcare career starts here! This Nursing Assistant course is approved by the Minnesota Department of Health. Learn basic nursing skills including how to take vital signs, provide personal cares and mobility assistance. Course instruction will include online coursework, in person skill days, and a mock clinical experience.

Students who successfully complete the program will receive a certificate of completion and be eligible to take the Nursing Assistant Competency Evaluation to be placed on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.

Reimbursable expenses: Nurse aides who pay for the cost of their training and testing prior to employment are eligible for reimbursement.

Class Requirements:

• Scrub top and pants, shoes that are clean and comfortable, and watch with a second hand.
• Attendance is mandatory for all online and in person class hours
