This course is intended to build knowledge and understanding of common 2D & 3D views of mechanical drawings (blueprints) which include multiple views, symbols and other drawing details. Includeds the use, interpretation and fundamental application of Blueprint language used in the design, manufacture and inspection of parts.

Course will cover the following topics:

• What are the different types of prints
• What information is in the Title Block
• How do you describe a 3-dimensional part on paper
• What symbols are used on prints
• How to take the information and use it to make parts
• How does shop mat relate to measurement of parts on a blueprint
